The Urban Core Homework Club is run through the community center in downtown Hamilton . The Homework Club is a place where kids of various ages can come after school to do their homework with help from volunteers. They are able to experience a fun learning environment, meet new friends, and learn the basic skills of literacy. This particular homework club deals primarily with children who have English as a second language.

Take any bus that goes towards downtown Hamilton , get off at Main and John Street , and turn left (north) onto John Street . Just a few blocks away, the community centre will be the baby blue building on the corner of John and Rebecca Street on the right. If you are driving there is parking located at the back of the building.
Program Dates:
Hopefully there will be a site orientation the first Tuesday of October. The program will officially start the 11 th of October and continue until the McMaster examination period in which we will take a break for the Holidays. The program will resume when we return to school in January of the New Year.
