George L Armstrong is an elementary school up the mountain. This program involves working in the classroom with students in small groups or one-on-one, helping them with their reading and writing skills. The grades range from kindergarten to grade 8, with more of a focus this year on Grades 4-8.

Directions:
Take a bus toward downtown. Get off at Main and MacNab. Walk to Main and James (the next light over). Turn left (North) on James and cross the street to the bus shelter. Take the 23 (Upper Gage) or 24 (Upper Sherman). Get off between Upper Wellington and Upper Sherman. The school is on the south side of the street. If you get off near Upper Wellington, you will walk East (same direction as the bus) for a few minutes. If you get off closer to Upper Sherman, you will walk West (back towards the school. You will see the school on your righthand side, there's a big sign, can't miss it.
Program Dates:
Program will begin in early to mid October until exams. It will start again when we get back in January and go until April.
